Reporting Diseases 

The Kane County Health Department's epidemiologists safeguard the health of our community by tracking, analyzing, and addressing the patterns and causes of diseases. They are dedicated to understanding health trends, responding to infectious disease outbreaks, and providing the insights necessary to prevent future health crises using the latest in data analysis and field investigation to inform public health decisions and promote wellness in Kane County. 

Medical professionals in Kane County are required to report specific diseases to the health department's epidemiologist, so that they may be tracked and actions taken when outbreaks occur.
