Arrive any time between 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Elgin Community College Gymnasium (Building J)

1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL 60123

In addition to being a fun and safe way for families to celebrate Halloween, the event will serve as a valuable activity for public health officials who will be practicing mass distribution procedures using free treats for all attendees.

“Our mission at KCHD is to promote, protect and advocate for health and wellness in Kane County, and key to those goals is being prepared to respond to health-related emergencies,” said Michael Isaacson, KCHD Executive Director. “Part of that preparation is finding opportunities to practice how we would respond should a county-wide emergency arise.”

Families are encouraged to come in costume and take pictures at a Halloween-themed photo station after collecting a variety of goodies.

“This event is a unique chance for the community to come together and have some fun while also preparing for an emergency,” said Cadence Griffiths, Public Health Emergency Response Supervisor.

KCDH encourages everyone to come out for a spooky and educational evening!
