This group is for parents of children with AS. It
offers monthly meetings (with speakers on various topics such as
occupational therapy, relationship development interventions), a sibling
workshop, a chance to talk with other parents of children with AS. |

This group is open to parents, professionals and adults with
Asperger's. Meetings are offered and we are adding speakers this season.
Social "play" groups are forming in different age groups |
Meetings are held the first Thursday of every other month at 7:00 pm at Knox
Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville. The next meeting will
be Nov. 7 (Meeting times are subject to change)

Parent
Support Program provides trained volunteer to assist and guide parents of
newly diagnosed infants with Down Syndrome. Volunteers are all parent s of
children with Down Syndrome. They provide support, up-to-date information on
Down Syndrome, local service information and introduction to community
support groups. |
Trained volunteer will visit parents with Down Syndrome children in the
hospital, home, or
wherever the new parents and the volunteer agree to meet. Telephone support
offered as needed. |
