More about the Bee Wize Immunize Campaign:

The Bee Wize — Immunize campaign was developed to provide immunizations to all families, with or without insurance. The objective is to immunize 90 percent of all children by age 2. Studies suggest Kane County's immunization rate to be 65 to 75 percent.

There are several locations where parents or guardians can bring their children to be immunized. Twenty-five partners have collaborated to provide services during the day or evening throughout Kane County.

All of the childhood diseases are serious and many are contagious, requiring hospitalization and resulting in loss of work time for parents. All babies by age 2 need to visit a doctor or clinic for immunizations at least five times to be protected against dangerous diseases, including diphtheria, rubella and measles.
