COVID-19 Reporting

Updates were recently made to the Administrative Code for Communicable Diseases and include changes to reporting requirements for SARS-CoV-2 Infection (COVID-19). Please see the administrative code for complete details.

Reporting of COVID-19 is now only required for Laboratory Confirmed Testing via ELR, Pediatric Deaths, and Intensive Care Unit admissions. Individual cases of COVID-19 detected through facility-conducted point-of-care testing no longer need to be reported via SimpleReports or the POC NHSN module. Outbreaks should still be reported to the LHD and testing results may be requested in the context of outbreak management.​
