Your online application will require you to create an account within Better Impact. This is the volunteer management software that the KC MRC uses. This allows us to post information about volunteer opportunities, shift scheduling, communication between administrators and MRC volunteers, and more.
You will be provided more information on how to use the software after you become an MRC volunteer. More information about Better Impact can be found here. You can also download the My Impact app on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Other Application Processes
After completing the online application through Better Impact, you will be soon be prompted with next steps for your application process. These include the following:
applicant is a resident of Kane County or surrounding areas
Completing a background check through the county and TB test through the health department's TB program
Finishing your Better Impact profile, including relevant experiences, skills, and more
Completing required volunteer trainings, as well as information for additional trainings
