The Kane County Health Department offers free family-focused parent support programs that help parents with young children from birth to three years guide their children to succeed in school and life. Trained educators share information about your child’s growth and development starting from pregnancy. They also support families by fostering positive relationships with their children and community members.

Home visiting programs can connect you with community resources like:

  • Money Management
  • Job Training
  • Eating Healthy
  • GED and/or ESL Classes
 

​We visit families of any size that:

  • ​Are expecting a baby
  • Have a newborn
  • Have an infant to a toddler up to age 3
 

Home visitors can:

  • Ease the anxiety that every parent feels
  • Answer questions
  • Help you understand your child's personality
  • Provide tips for parenting that match your child's needs
  • Screen for your child's development and show you activities to help your child grow and develop!​​
