Footprints to Recovery
Substance use disorder/dual diagnosis, including medical detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programming. We also have a separate licensed recovery home as an option for alternative housing for patients attending outpatient clinical services in a safe environment.

Greater Family Health
Services include adult, adolescent, pediatric and women’s health services, dental care for all ages, behavioral health, including counseling, psychiatry and substance use disorder services, and LGBTQ health services. Additional services include Family Planning, Case Management, Health Benefits Enrollment, HIV and STD testing and treatment, and COVID-19 testing and vaccination. Family Case Management, a home-visiting program, is also available for pregnant women and families with a baby under the age of 1.

Hesed House
Hesed House’s mission is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless and give people the chance to hope again. Hesed House is a national model for ending homelessness – one person, one family at a time. The Overnight Emergency Shelter is available to adults in need of housing, while the Family Shelter is open to families with children. There is no limit on the time for someone to stay at Hesed House; however, most guests find housing within a few weeks. Our Comprehensive Resource Center (CRC) is located across the street from the main Hesed House building, at 680 S. River St. This is where case management occurs, helping people with counseling through traumatic experiences, financial guidance, job guidance, and much more. In order to receive help from the programs offered through the CRC, guests of Hesed House first meet with a case manager.

IL Department of Employment Security-Veteran's Division
DVOP specialists provide Intensive Employment Services utilizing a Case Management approach to eligible Veterans with Significant Barriers to Employment (SBE) – which includes age (18-24 years old), VA-Service Connected Disability Rating, Homelessness, Recent Military Discharge combined with at least 27 weeks of unemployment, formerly incarcerated, lack of GED or high school diploma, and living at or below the poverty Level – to assist them in obtaining their employment goal.

The mission of Prairie State Legal Services is to ensure equal access to justice and fair treatment under the law by providing legal advice and representation, advocacy, education, and outreach that serve to protect basic human needs and enforce or uphold rights. PSLS envisions a community where all low-income, elderly and vulnerable people have ready access to legal services to meet their basic needs and where everyone knows, understands and can exercise their rights and be treated fairly in their pursuit of justice. Our clients are members of our community. Many face issues from unsafe, unstable, or unaffordable housing and lack of health care to domestic violence, keeping their children in school, and consumer debt harassment. Sometimes, they may have multiple issues at the same time. Our clients are of all ages and ethnicities. Yet, with little or no income amid their crisis, they have no other options for legal representation. Whatever challenges our clients face, our lawyers and advocates can and do make a significant difference in their lives.

Our Veterans Smile program only serves the Veterans themselves. We fund the critical dental care needed for our program eligible Veterans in need. We locate a dental provider within the area of which the Veterans resides. We then refer the Veteran to the specific dental provider.
