The Kane County Health Department is dedicated to assisting Kane County residents, workplaces and organizations in creating a smoke and tobacco-free environment for all.

Periodically, funds are offered to schools, healthcare providers, businesses, and other organizations across Kane County to prevent tobacco initiation among youth, promote quitting tobacco use among adults and youth, eliminate secondhand smoke exposure, and promote compliance with the Smoke-Free Illinois Act.

Funds are currently available for behavioral health treatment centers. Applications are due September 30, 2023.
